Cooking Instructions:

To make the perfect porridge use the stove and put 40g of Ludlow Nut Co’s porridge oats in a saucepan and pour in 300ml milk depending on how creamy you like it, place on a low heat and stir regularly to avoid sticking to the bottom of the saucepan. Let the porridge simmer and thicken. At this stage you can add any sweetener, honey, golden syrup, jam, etc. Pour into a bowl and enjoy! For speed, you can also microwave: cook for 2 minutes, stir and cook for further 1 minute. 

Purists can enjoy our porridge just as it is, or perhaps drizzled with a little honey, for the more adventurous try mixing things up with one of our tasty ideas:

Try a spoonful of one of our nut butters like peanut or almond, both are brilliant, just dollop on top of your cooked porridge or swirl it through towards the end of cooking.

For those of you who like some texture and bite why not add a spoonful of some of our nuts or seeds roughly chopped. Walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts or pumpkin sees would be great.

For sweetness try some of our dried fruits. Raisins, sultanas, chopped dates, chopped figs, cranberries or blueberries would all work well.

For the decadent among you try stirring in a spoonful of cocoa at the end of cooking and garnish with some flaked chocolate.
